COVID Safety Precautions

Update as of 5/24/22:

We weighed a number of factors to determine the following COVID safety protocols:

  • Enrollment will be limited to 25 children per day to minimize exposure.

  • Nearly 100% of activities are held outdoors.

  • We request that any adult who believes they may have been in a high-risk situation (such as a crowded indoor restaurant or concert) practice good judgment and wear a mask when in close proximity to children for three days after the high-risk situation.

  • Staff members will maintain at least 3-feet of physical distance between themselves and children whenever possible.

  • Powerful HEPA air filters are used indoors and classroom doors to the outside remain open whenever two or more people go inside.

  • Adults may choose to wear masks when they go inside for short periods of time (less than 15 minutes).

  • We support individual families' wishes and we will support children who wear masks to school to put on their masks when they enter the classroom for any period of time.

  • We request that those who choose to wear masks for their own protection and/or the protection of others choose N95 or KN95 masks.

  • COVID exposure and positivity protocols remain in effect: A negative test is required to attend school for any person who experiences symptoms, who is in a household with a person who tests positive, or who has tested positive themselves.
